<description><![CDATA[<p class="MsoNormal"><span><font size="3"><font color="#000000">PBCC South Campus Professor Fine tells us that the&nbsp;title refers to Ground Zero, which has been shortened by some of the police who survived.&nbsp;<span>This is not a&nbsp;</span>romanticizing of 9 11 but rather a story about&nbsp;Brian Remy, a hero cop who wakes up to find that he shot himself in the head just days after the attacks.<span>&nbsp; </span><span><span>There is a surreal, Kafka-esque flavor to this novel that is both disturbing and intriguing.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span> <span>The novel asks questions about morality, about forgiveness and also, about how September 11<sup>th</sup> changed us all.</span></span></span></span></font></font></span></p>
