Jayson Godfrey talks about current April activities on PBCC South Campus including Disability Awareness Week, the Virtual Job Fair, the History of Deaf Culture interactive instruction, AIDs testing and the coming contest of cleaning up the campus.  Also, a movie review of 300 - which is awesome when you consider how this movie was made, it is like stepping into a history book and seeing it for yourself instead of just reading about it.  Thought for the Day from Abraham Lincoln.

PBCC South Campus Professor Fine tells us that the title refers to Ground Zero, which has been shortened by some of the police who survived. This is not a romanticizing of 9 11 but rather a story about Brian Remy, a hero cop who wakes up to find that he shot himself in the head just days after the attacks.  There is a surreal, Kafka-esque flavor to this novel that is both disturbing and intriguing.   The novel asks questions about morality, about forgiveness and also, about how September 11th changed us all.
